Next to Raphael and Perugino
In 2026 we renovated the bell chamber of the Church of San Severo in Perugia, in a complex of great historic and artistic value, protected by the Soprintendenza, the Italian heritage authority.
The chapel next to the church houses the fresco of the Trinity and Saints: the upper part was painted by Raphael between 1505 and 1508, and the rest was completed by Pietro Perugino in 1521. It is the only work by Raphael left in Perugia and Perugino’s last in the city.

The scaffolding

Securing the bells
In the bell chamber the bells were secured with straps before work began on the supports and on the floor of the chamber.
