The project

After the earthquake of 2016

The earthquake of 30 October 2016 caused cracks in the arch of the entrance gateway of Norcia, protected by the Soprintendenza, the Italian heritage authority.

In July 2017 we made it safe: a steel structure embracing the gateway on both sides, radiating props beneath the arch and the repair of the cracks in the stone masonry.
