The project
A house that follows the hillside
La Casa sul Chiaro is a private residence at Cimbano, in Castiglione del Lago, overlooking Lake Chiusi. It was designed by architect Claudio Nardi; we built it, following the design and the landscape it sits in.
The house is made up of several volumes that follow the natural slope of the land and look towards the lake, so every room has a direct relationship with the landscape. The project was selected for the exhibition Architects meet in Selinunte 2023, devoted to contemporary architecture.
